Description
The ATW® Coronary Guidewire is engineered for optimal balance between flexibility and support during coronary interventions. Designed with medium support characteristics, it enables reliable navigation through complex coronary anatomy while maintaining the flexibility required for atraumatic vessel tracking.
The guidewire features a Duraglide/PTFE low-friction coating, which significantly reduces resistance during advancement through guiding catheters, microcatheters, and stenotic lesions. This coating enhances device deliverability and allows smooth device tracking during balloon angioplasty and stent delivery procedures.
Its 3 cm radiopaque distal tip provides excellent visibility under fluoroscopy, enabling precise control and positioning during critical interventional steps. The floppy tip configuration minimizes the risk of vessel trauma while maintaining responsive torque control for accurate lesion crossing.
The ATW® guidewire is widely used in procedures such as:
