Description
The STABILIZER® Marker Wire Coronary Guidewire is designed to assist interventional cardiologists in accurate lesion length assessment and device positioning during coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
A key feature of this guidewire is the six radiopaque marker bands positioned at 15 mm intervals, allowing physicians to easily measure lesion length and determine optimal balloon or stent size under fluoroscopic guidance. This design reduces procedural uncertainty and improves precision during coronary interventions.
The guidewire incorporates PTFE/Duraglide coating, which creates a low-friction surface that enhances deliverability through guiding catheters, microcatheters, balloon catheters, and stent delivery systems. This coating improves trackability and facilitates smooth advancement through tortuous coronary vessels.
A 3 cm radiopaque distal segment ensures excellent visualization of the wire tip under fluoroscopy, providing additional accuracy when navigating coronary arteries and crossing lesions.
The STABILIZER® Marker Wire is available with soft and super soft distal tip configurations, enabling physicians to select the appropriate balance between atraumatic vessel navigation and device support.
This guidewire is commonly used in procedures such as:
- Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
- Coronary angiography
- Lesion length measurement
- Stent and balloon sizing
- Device positioning during complex interventions
With 180 cm and 300 cm length options and straight or J-shaped tip configurations, the wire provides flexibility for different procedural techniques.
