ADROIT™ Guiding Catheter – Extra Back-Up (XB)

Description

The ADROIT™ Guiding Catheter – Extra Back-Up (XB) configuration is specifically designed to deliver maximum guide support during complex coronary interventions. The XB shape provides stronger back-up support compared to traditional guiding catheters, making it particularly useful for challenging coronary anatomies and difficult lesion crossings.

The 6F ADROIT™ catheter features a large internal lumen of 0.072”, allowing improved device compatibility and facilitating the delivery of balloons, stents, and other interventional devices. This expanded lumen also enhances procedural visualization and improves device maneuverability.

For procedures requiring a smaller profile, the 5F version offers a 0.058” internal lumen, making it suitable for transradial access procedures while still maintaining effective guide support.

The catheter incorporates TRUELUMEN™ technology, which ensures a consistent internal lumen from hub to distal tip, minimizing resistance during device delivery and improving procedural predictability.

The PTFE inner coating reduces friction within the catheter lumen, enabling smoother advancement of interventional devices.

A hybrid braided shaft construction provides the ideal balance of flexibility and support. This structural design ensures strong back-up support for device delivery while maintaining the flexibility necessary to navigate complex coronary anatomy.
