Description
The ADROIT™ Dedicated Radial Shapes Guiding Catheters are engineered to optimize coronary access through the radial artery, which has become the preferred access site for many diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures.
Radial access offers several clinical advantages, including reduced bleeding complications, improved patient comfort, and faster post-procedure recovery. To support these procedures, the ADROIT™ radial catheter portfolio includes specialized shapes that facilitate both left and right coronary engagement from radial access.
The 6F catheter configuration features a large internal lumen of 0.072”, allowing smooth delivery of balloons, stents, and other PCI devices.
The 5F version offers a 0.058” internal lumen, which is ideal for transradial diagnostic and interventional procedures requiring a smaller catheter profile.
The catheter incorporates TRUELUMEN™ technology, ensuring a consistent internal lumen diameter from the hub to the distal tip, improving device deliverability and reducing friction during device advancement.
A PTFE inner lining further minimizes friction, enabling smooth passage of guidewires, balloons, and stents.
The hybrid braided shaft design provides the ideal balance between flexibility and strong guide support, allowing the catheter to navigate the radial artery and complex vascular anatomy while maintaining stability during device deployment.
Dedicated radial shapes included in this portfolio are designed for:
- Left and right coronary engagement via radial access
- Transradial PCI procedures
- Diagnostic coronary angiography
- Radial bilateral coronary access
- Radial brachial approaches
These specialized shapes provide physicians with a complete radial access catheter solution for a wide range of coronary interventions.
