Description
The ADROIT™ Amplatz Right (AR) Guiding Catheter is engineered for optimal engagement of the right coronary artery during diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures. The Amplatz Right configuration offers increased guide support, making it particularly effective in complex coronary interventions and challenging anatomical situations.
The 6F catheter configuration provides a large internal lumen of 0.072”, allowing improved compatibility with balloons, stents, and other interventional devices used in PCI procedures.
For procedures requiring a smaller catheter profile, the 5F version offers a 0.058” internal lumen, making it well suited for transradial access procedures while maintaining reliable support.
The catheter incorporates TRUELUMEN™ technology, ensuring a consistent internal lumen from hub to distal tip, which improves device deliverability and reduces resistance during device advancement.
The PTFE inner lining minimizes friction inside the catheter lumen, enabling smooth passage of balloons, guidewires, and coronary stents.
A hybrid braided shaft design provides the ideal balance between flexibility and strong back-up support, allowing the catheter to navigate complex vascular anatomy while maintaining stability for device delivery.
The Amplatz Right (AR) configuration is widely used in:
