Description
The ADROIT™ Amplatz Left (AL) Guiding Catheter is engineered for superior engagement of the left coronary artery and enhanced guide support during challenging coronary interventions. The Amplatz Left configuration is widely used in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) when additional support is required for device delivery.
The 6F catheter configuration offers a large internal lumen of 0.072”, providing improved compatibility with balloons, stents, and other interventional devices. This larger lumen allows smoother device passage and improved visualization during procedures.
The 5F version features a 0.058” internal lumen, making it suitable for transradial access procedures where a smaller catheter profile is preferred.
The catheter incorporates TRUELUMEN™ technology, which maintains a consistent internal lumen diameter from hub to distal tip, improving device deliverability and reducing resistance during interventions.
The PTFE inner coating minimizes friction within the catheter lumen, allowing smooth advancement of interventional devices.
A hybrid braided shaft design provides the optimal balance of flexibility and support, enabling physicians to navigate complex vascular anatomy while maintaining strong back-up support for device deployment.
