Description
The ADROIT™ Guiding Catheter – Extra Back-Up Contralateral (XBC) configuration is specifically engineered to facilitate contralateral access and strong back-up support during interventions involving the left circumflex coronary artery and complex coronary anatomies.
The 6F ADROIT™ catheter provides a large internal diameter of 0.072”, significantly improving device compatibility and allowing smooth delivery of balloons, stents, and other PCI devices. The expanded lumen also enhances procedural visualization and maneuverability.
For procedures requiring a smaller access profile, the 5F version offers a 0.058” internal lumen, making it ideal for transradial interventions while maintaining sufficient guide support.
The catheter integrates TRUELUMEN™ technology, ensuring a consistent internal lumen from the hub to the distal tip. This design improves device deliverability and minimizes resistance during device advancement.
The PTFE inner lining reduces friction, enabling smoother movement of interventional devices through the catheter.
A hybrid braided shaft design provides the balance between flexibility and support required for navigating complex coronary anatomy while maintaining the strong back-up force needed for device deployment.
The Extra Back-Up Contralateral (XBC) shapes are optimized for:
