Description
The Samurai™ RC Guidewire is engineered to provide enhanced deliverability and precise control during percutaneous coronary interventions. Manufactured with a stainless-steel core and a welded silver/tin tip, it ensures both flexibility and durability. The platinum/nickel/stainless-steel coil enhances radiopacity, allowing clear visualization under fluoroscopy.
Its hydrophilic polyethylene oxide coating on the distal shaft improves trackability and smooth navigation, while the proximal shaft is coated with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) combined with titanium dioxide and phthalocyanine blue for reduced friction and improved pushability.
The Samurai RC version with 190 cm length is supplied with a modified proximal end, enabling the connection of a Stretch extension for extended procedural versatility. Available in both straight and J-tip configurations, it supports consistent access and device delivery in complex anatomies.
