Description
The Guidezilla™ II Guide Extension Catheter is a state-of-the-art device used in percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) to support and extend the reach of the primary guiding catheter. Designed for challenging anatomies, it allows physicians to advance interventional devices more easily through tortuous or resistant vessels.
This single-lumen rapid-exchange catheter has a 150 cm shaft length, composed of a hydrophilic distal guiding segment for smooth navigation and a stainless-steel proximal shaft for enhanced pushability and stability. The distal segment includes a platinum–iridium radiopaque marker band placed 2 mm from the tip for precise positioning, along with a proximal radiopaque collar.
To assist operators, the catheter features two positioning markers at 90 cm and 100 cm from the distal end, improving procedural accuracy. A dedicated handle at the proximal end ensures easy identification and control during procedures.
